This is a question that purchasing agents should ponder when looking at different companies to buy promotional products from. Why shouldn't it just be based on price?

Anyone can offer "lowest prices guaranteed" on their webpage, but that does not guarantee quality products, good service or on-time delivery. If any of the other factors mentioned are important to you, the purchaser, then you should not automatically go with the company with the lowest price.

We have had dozens of customers with horror stories come to us with last minute requests because they chose someone that they didn't know based solely on price. They either received inferior products, no products at all or cannot get in touch with the company to follow up on orders to make sure that everything is on schedule.

The lowest price can often mean a compromise to product quality and the service level you will receive.
