Education is the key step toward eliminating forest fires, home fires and other fires created by our actions. According to the National Fire Prevention Association, over 13% of all fire fatalities involved someone with a physical disability. This is just one of many facts that if known, could help families prevent situations that may result in fire related deaths.

Although Fire Prevention Awareness Week is in October, you should promote fire safety and education year round. Connect with schools, churches and other organizations to reach out to your target audience. Consider the age of your audience, goals for your program and other important factors when selecting a product to deliver your message.
